MAX-M8 series - small M8 GNSS modules
u-blox MAX-M8 compact GNSS modules utilise the outstanding performance of the u‑blox M8 engine in the industry proven MAX form factor. With a dual-frequency RF front-end, the concurrent GNSS engine intelligently uses the highest amount of visible satellites from three GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou) for more reliable positioning, providing high sensitivity and minimal acquisition times while maintaining low system power.
The MAX‑M8C is optimised for cost sensitive applications with lowest power consumption, the MAX-M8Q provides best performance for passive and active antennas designs, while the MAX-M8W is optimised for active antennas with best performance.
- Simultaneous reception of up to 3 GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou)
- Industry leading -167 dBm navigation sensitivity
- Superior anti‑spoofing and anti‑jamming
- Pin‑compatible with MAX‑7 and MAX‑6
* MAX-M10M or MAX-M10S are recommended for new designs
EVK-M8C and EVK-M8Q evaluation kits are a great way to assess the performance and suitability of u-blox MAX-M8 small GNSS modules for your application.
