Machine-to-machine and IOT (Internet of Things) communications expert Alpha Micro Components has launched the xPico® Wi-Fi SMT embedded device server from Lantronix - a certified, compact Wi-Fi surface mount module which enables quick and easy serial-to-Wi-Fi connectivity.  Guaranteed to reduce development costs and shorten time-to-market, the new module is ideal for OEM design engineers keen to develop IoT applications and solutions, in particular those requiring direct access to device data via smartphones, tablets, and connected PCs.
