From 1st September 2005 all components despatched by Alpha Micro will be identified in one of the following 3 ways for the purpose of customer segregation.

RoHS compliant
|
|
Where the components are confirmed by the Manufacturer to be fully RoHS compliant (and therefore Lead-free), Alpha Micro will affix this label as close as feasible to the part number ID label on the product carton. (This may or may not be the shipping carton.)
You can use this component in a lead-free process & sell your finished product within the EU after July 2006.

Lead-free only
|
Where the components are confirmed by the Manufacturer to only be free from Lead (Pb), Alpha Micro will affix this label as close as feasible to the part number ID label on the product carton. (This may or may not be the shipping carton.)
You can use this component in a lead-free process but should not rely on being be able to sell your finished product within the EU after July 2006 unless exempt. |

No status
|
Where the components cannot be confirmed by the Manufacturer to be RoHS compliant or free from Lead (Pb), Alpha Micro will affix this label as close as feasible to the part number ID label on the product carton. (This may or may not be the shipping carton.)
In some cases Alpha Micro may attach this label where the status cannot be determined to be either of the above.
You cannot use this component in a lead-free process & should not sell your finished product within the EU after July 2006 unless exempt. |
