LISA-U2 Series - u-blox 3.75G UMTS/HSPA+ Wireless Modem Module Series

LISA-U2 modules are ideal for consumer and industrial applications requiring high-speed data transmission rates, and machine-to machine applications. They are the perfect choice for mobile Internet terminals, PC tablets, in-car infotainment, connected navigation systems, security and surveillance systems, eCall, fleet management, metering, anti-theft systems, and other automotive applications.

For telematics applications, LISA-U2 modules offer fully integrated access to u-blox GPS receivers via the module. Wireless and GPS are controlled through a single serial port from any host processor, and A-GPS (AssistNow Online and Offline) functionality is integrated in the wireless module.

In addition, to the LISA-U200 and LISA-U230 universal 6-band modules, u-blox have added the cost-effective LISA-U260 and LISA-U270 dual band 3G modules, covering frequency bands II and V (the U260, used mainly in the Americas) and frequency bands I and VIII (the U270, covering the EMEA region and most of Asia).

u-blox EVK-U20 and EVK-U23 evaluation kits provide simple, flexible and ready-to-use environments for evaluating u-blox' LISA UMTS/HSPA(+) wireless modules, as well as for designing and testing of wireless and GPS applications. The kits are very user-friendly, and have both USB and RS232 interfaces for development, testing and tracing.
