The LISA-U100 series provides dual-band HSPA high-speed data and
voice communication, and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, in a compact SMT
form factor. Featuring 7.2 Mb/s HSDPA download and 5.6 Mb/s HSUPA
upload speeds, a rich set of Internet protocols, and very low power
consumption, LISA-U series is ideal for all applications requiring
voice and/or very high data transmission rates such as mobile
Internet terminals, hand-held industrial terminals, in-car
infotainment, connected navigation systems, eCall, Security and
surveillance (video and images), anti-theft systems, and Internet
Gateways.
For telematics applications, LISA modules offer fully
integrated access to u-blox GPS receivers via the module. Wireless
and GPS are controlled through a single serial port from any host
processor, and A-GPS (AssistNow Online and Offline) functionality
is integrated in the wireless module.
Also look out for the new LISA-U200 module due for release in
early 2012, which offers a complete and cost efficient 3.75G
solution offering up to six-band high-speed HSPA+ and quad-band
GSM/EGPRS voice and/or data transmission technology in the popular
LISA compact form factor.

implementation timelines, a complete developer program is offered
that includes an OEM integrator kit and technical support from a
team of experienced engineers.
The OEM integrator Kit includes the LISA modem module,
onboard LEA-6 GPS module, GSM/GPS antenna, USB cables, audio
headset, power supply, documentation and accessories required to
start integrating with u-blox modem and
GPS modules.
