LEON - u-blox Wireless G100/G200 GSM/GPRS Transceiver Modem Modules

The LEON-G100/G200 modules from u-blox are cost efficient solutions bringing full feature quad-band GSM/GPRS data and voice transmission technology in a compact form factor. Featuring low power consumption and GSM/GPRS class 10 data transmission with voice capability, the LEON-G100/G200 combine baseband, RF transceiver, power management unit, and power amplifier in a single, easy-to-integrate surface mount solution.

The LEON-G100/G200 are complete, fully qualified and certified solutions enabling reduced costs and short time to market. These modules are ideally suited for M2M and automotive applications such as: Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), Remote Monitoring Automation and Control (RMAC), surveillance and security, road pricing, asset tracking, fleet management, anti theft systems and Point of Sales (PoS) terminals.

The LEON G-100/G-200 are optimised to work with u-blox' world class GPS receivers and when combined offer a very cost effective solution for telematics and asset tracking applications.

This product also supports the new CellLocate™ and Hybrid positioning technology developed by u-blox to help increase reliability and indoor positioning based on mobile network attributes.

The LEON-G100 Automotive is a complete, fully qualified and certified module. It is ideally suited for all automotive applications such as vehicle tracking and control, eCall, fleet management, anti-theft systems, road assistance, road-pricing, and other automotive applications.The LEON-G100 Automotive module features Leadless-Chip-Carrier (LCC) packaging and a very compact form-factor, which are particularly suited to automotive environments. SMT pads enable fully automated assembly processes with standard pick-and-place equipment and reflow soldering, permitting cost-efficient high-volume production.
