GainSpan Application Development Kits (ADK) simplify development
of firmware for typical applications using GainSpan's GS1100M and GS1500M Wi-Fi modules.
A range of GainSpan Application Development Kits is available,
covering applications such as provisioning and configuration,
Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware upgrades, temperature and light sensors
and smart plugs. More are being developed to cover areas such as
audio and video applications.
The kits are provided on a 1 year subscription basis and
typically provide embedded code, web pages, iOS and Android source
code and a hardware design package (hardware schematics, board
layout and Bills of Material). In addition, the subscription
includes updates and maintenance as well as email and remote
desktop support.

The GainSpan Provisioning Application Development Kit (ADK) is
a complete Provisioning and Configuration solution that enables
provisioning of GainSpan GS1011 SOC, the GS1011M and GS1500M Wi-Fi
modules. The GainSpan Provisioning ADK enables rapid deployment of
GainSpan Wi-Fi modules by allowing users to quickly configure their
wireless security and network options using either smartphones (iOS
or Android based) or PCs (web browser). |

The GainSpan Over-the-Air Firmware Upgrade (OTAFU) Application
Development Kit (ADK) enables wireless upgrade of the embedded
firmware on GainSpan GS1011 SOC, GS1011M and GS1500M Wi-Fi modules,
using either a web browser (PC) or a mobile native application (iOS
or Android based smartphone). |

The GainSpan TLS Web Server Application Development Kit (ADK)
is a complete reference design that demonstrates a Temperature and
Light Sensor (TLS) application based on GainSpan GS1011M or GS1500M
Wi-Fi modules and the associated embedded software suite. The TLS
Web Server application works in conjunction with the GainSpan EVB
II boards. |
| GS-ADK-RenesasTLAS-WEB |
This GainSpan-Renesas Wi-Fi Sensor ADK is a sensor reference
application that works with the Gainspan Wi-Fi Adapter board/module
mounted on the Renesas RDK or the RL78G14 Renesas RDK. The Wi-Fi
sensor application allows LED's on the Renesas RDK board to be
turned on/off using an iOS or Android-based smartphone or tablet
and displays the temperature, light and spatial orientation sensed
by the sensors on the RDK board. This ADK provides a complete suite
of embedded and mobile platform APIs to greatly ease, and shorten,
development time. This ADK consists of the GainSpan Wi-Fi adapter
board (WAB), the embedded firmware application, Renesas host
application codes and a mobile application. |

The GainSpan Smart Plug ADK is a complete reference design of a
smart plug based on the GS1011MEP module and the associated
embedded software suite. The SmartPlug application works in
conjunction with the GainSpan SmartPlug hardware and enables power
measurement and load control through iOS or Android based
smartphones/ tablets. The ADK consists of the smartplug reference
design hardware, the embedded firmware application, HTTP and system
API, and web and mobile applications. |
