The Advantech EKI-2525 supports a Fast Ethernet solution. The
power is a +12 ~ 48 VDC redundant input design, and is secured with
a double protection mechanism: Power Polarity Reverse Protect and
an Overload Current Resettable Fuse.
The Power Polarity Reverse Protect feature is capable of
withstanding reverse power wiring so that devices will not be
damaged should the cables be incorrectly installed, whilst the
resettable fuse secures the system from overload currents and the
device will automatically reset and resumem operation as the power
supply returns to its normal state.
Each port of EKI-2525 has 2 LED's to show the link status
transmission speed and collision status. It also provides a relay
output for an event alarm. In the event of a power failure, the
built-in LED will activate the alarm to notify administrators.
Engineers can simply verify the hardware status by checking the
LED, making troubleshooting the device a simple task.
The Advantech EKI-2525 comes with a compact metal housing that
is IP30 rated to help protect from dusty industrial
environments.
