ADAM-4570 - Dual-port RS-232/422/485 Serial Device Server

The ADAM-4570 is a fast and cost effective data gateway between RS-232/422/485 and Ethernet interfaces. This unit immediately upgrades your existing device into the Ethernet world. Functionally transparent and efficient, the ADAM-4570 is specially designed for remotely controlling and monitoring devices via the Internet.

The ADAM-4570 provides two RS-232/485/422 serial ports easily individually configured for your needs. And the transmission speed of the ADAM-4570 is up to 230 Kbps, meeting the demand for high-speed exchange. In addition, users can use Windows utility to configure the ADAM-4570 without further programming. The ADAM-4570 protects not only your current hardware investment but also ensures future network expandability. Since the protocol conversion is transparent, all your existing devices can be seamlessly integrated with the Ethernet network. This makes the ADAM-4570 suitable for use in security systems, factory automation, SCADA, transportation and more.

The ADAM-4570L is a cost-effective Ethernet to RS-232 data gateway. It provides a quick way to connect any RS-232 device to Ethernet at a very low cost without losing important features that the EDG series has, such as 230Kbps high-speed data exchange rate, IP address access control, auto-reconnection, easy-to-manage virtual COM port mapping, auto-detecting configuration and remote download over Ethernet. The protocol conversion is transparent and the configuration effort has been reduced to minimum.
