AMY-6M u-blox 6 ROM-based GPS Module

u-blox 6, builds upon the success of u-blox 5 and offers an ultra-fast acquisition time thanks to its 50-channel GPS architecture and 2 million correlators, plus separate acquisition and tracking engines, u-blox 6 is capable of performing massively parallel searches. Combined with u-blox' AssistNow A-GPS service, u-blox 6 enhanced GPS devices can acquire satellites in less than one second. In addition to GPS, u-blox 6 is future-proofed for the upcoming new European satellite system GALILEO.

The AMY-6M GPS module features the industry’s smallest form factor and is a fully tested standalone solution that requires no additional components and no host integration. This tiny module measures just 6.5 x 8 x 1.2mm and combines exceptional GPS performance with highly flexible power, design, and serial communication options.

The U-blox AMY-5M module's compact architecture and its very low power consumption makes it ideal for cost sensitive, battery operated mobile devices with space constraints.

The AMY-6M module features u-blox' SuperSense® Indoor GPS technology that offers unmatched tracking performance in harsh signal environments such as car parks, and dense city environments.
