AMC27148-TRAC and AMC17148-TRAC Stand Alone GPRS/GSM/GPS Modem

The Alpha Micro Trac unit is the ultimate standalone solution for data access control, global positioning and audio transmission. Housed in a brushed aluminium shielded case, the Alpha Micro AMC27148-TRACmobile and AMC17148-TRACmonitor are ideal for integration into vehicle tracking systems and M2M (Machine to Machine) applications.

Whilst supporting the existing global GSM radio standard, the addition of GPRS technology makes the modem ideally suited to applications where an 'Always On/Always Connected’ radio is required.

Trac allows you to receive and transmit real time data so that you are in constant contact and control of your assets. Both the hardware and software are developed in house by Alpha Micro’s world leading GPRS design team, affording us the capability to provide customised features and bespoke options in a timely fashion.

Alpha Micro Components unique on-board interface system allows for the addition of a processor independent daughter board to support customers who want to embed their own application software into the TRAC box.
