FXP-Series Flexible 2.4GHz PCB Antenna Range

The Taoglas FXP series of high performance Flexible Circuit PCB Antennas for 2.4GHz, provide an ideal solution for OEM customers designing wireless products to work on  WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth and ISM bands at 2.4GHz.

A range of sizes, to suit most applications, are available and cable length and connectors can be fully customised to tie in with customers needs. These antennas have been designed to work in embedded products and are suitable for use on a wide range of different plastics materials.

The FXP70 Freedom 2.4GHz Antenna has been designed as a general solution to cover the current market applications, with easy installation through a cable connection. 

The FXP72 Freedom 2.4GHz Antenna has been designed with a specific characteristic of having a ground coupling effect in between the antenna and the device’s board, suitable for those devices where there is no clearance in between the enclosure and the board, keeping the antenna performance. The Antenna can be placed above or below of the device’s board, but leaving the radiated elements of the antenna free of metal.

The FXP73 Blue Diamond 2.4GHz Antenna has been designed with a specific solution to cover the current market applications that require rectangular form-factor, with easy installation through a cable connection.

Both the cable and terminating connector can be fully customised to suit your application and for volume users we can also design custom versions of this product range that can be tuned specifically to suit customer’s plastic enclosures and housing.

Antenna Tuning and Best Performance

Antenna and RF design can be difficult at the best of times and, if not tuned correctly, can dramatically affect the performance of your product. Taoglas have extensive experience in designing and testing RF solutions and can help your engineers to get the best possible performance at all times.

Our service offers customers the opportunity to have their products tested at the Taoglas test lab where the antenna's can be fine tuned to exactly suit your products requirements ensuring the best match and performance for your application. We recommend that customers using internally located antennas always have them tuned before deploying them into mass production.

This work normally takes around 3 weeks to complete and a full report is also supplied.
