PC-28 TheStripe™ Penta-band PCB type GSM Antenna

This miniaturised, low profile, PCB antenna is based on Taoglas's smart, TheStripe™ antenna technology and consists of a PCB antenna with mini coaxial cable and terminated with an RF connector. Its compact size makes it an ideal solution for integration into OEM designs and equipment. It has been optimised for the new UMTS/WCDMA (3G) 2100MHz networks and for GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz networks, making the PC-28 Penta-band PCB antenna ideal for global deployment.

PC-28 is available in various cable lengths and can be terminated with a choice of RF connectors. Its high efficiency makes it an ideal choice to pass telecom operator’s testing approvals.

The standard antenna is suitable for benchmark testing in freespace with the client’s device. For volume customer's we offer bespoke antennas from this product range that can be tuned specifically to suit customers plastic enclosures and housing. Both cable length and connector type can be fully customised to suit your application.

Antenna Tuning and Best Performance

Antenna and RF design can be difficult at the best of times and, if not tuned correctly, can dramatically affect the performance of your product. Taoglas have extensive experience in designing and testing RF solutions and can help your engineers to get the best possible performance at all times.

Our service offers customers the opportunity to have their products tested at the Taoglas test lab where the antenna's can be fine tuned to exactly suit your products requirements ensuring the best match and performance for your application. We recommend that customers using PCB based antenna's always have them tuned before deploying them into mass production.

This work normally takes around 1 week and a full report is also supplied.
