AMC-ICA-567 SIM Card Acceptor with built in card detection switch

Alpha Micro's AMC-ICA-567, is a surface mount SIM Card Connector and is available with or without a mounting post. SIM cards, sometimes referred to as SMART Cards, are widely used for identifying devices in GSM and Cellular phone type applications.

Cards are also used for identification of readers/writers and Point of Sale terminals. These types of Card are sometimes referred to as SAMs (Secure Application Module) card.

The AMC-ICA-567 device has been designed to meet a variety of customer applications. Key features include its low profile package, just 2.0mm high, together with its reliable card detection switch which uses a push and slide locking mechanism with a hinged cover.
