Alpha Micro's AMC-ICA-521, is a surface mount SIM Card Connector with a mounting post. SIM cards, sometimes referred to as SMART Cards, are widely used for identifying devices in GSM and Cellular phone type applications.
Cards are also used for identification of readers/writers and Point of Sale terminals. These types of Card are sometimes referred to as SAMs (Secure Application Module) card.
The AMC-ICA-521 device was designed to meet a variety of customer applications. Key features include its low profile package, just 2.3mm high, together with its reliable push and slide locking mechanism with a hinged cover.
The AMC-ICA-521-6P-RX can be used a second source to the Amphenol C707-10M006-049 2 device.
