Teridian Semiconductor's Power Meter ICs offer the highest level of integration and flexibility in the industry and are the ideal choice for developing low cost, intelligent utility meters for residential use.
Equipped with on-chip digital temperature compensation and Teridian’s patent-pending Single Converter Technology™, the device delivers superior linearity over 2000:1 current range, and under adverse environmental conditions. Requiring a single 3.3V capacitive supply circuit, the 71M6511 consumes less than 9 mA in mission and 4 micro Amps in battery backup modes, and it includes 64KB of FLASH, 7KB RAM, Real Time Clock (RTC), 5V LCD boost, 2+ UARTs, and an I²C interface.

We can provide further assistance in reducing design and implementation timescales. Teridian have a comprehensive evaluation kit availble that includes an OEM integrator kit and technical support from a team of experienced engineers.
The OEM integrator Kit includes a Teridian Metering IC System-on-Chip development platform supplied with cables, documentation and accessories required to start integrating instantly. All the metering development boards come pre-loaded with LAPI (Low level API) and include all the source code (Keil Microvision project).
A separate flash programmer 80515-FPBM-TFP1 is also available to purchase. This provides a standalone, FLASH memory programming tool for Teridian Semiconductors embedded controllers. The TFP2 facilitates FLASH programming in a manufacturing production environment requiring minimum ancillary equipment.
