Sagem offer a wide range of GSM/GPRS products designed to meet the demanding requirements for "Machine to Machine" (M2M) and industrial applications. The new HiLo NC is a surface mount module which is as small as a postage stamp and addresses the demand for the latest GPRS technology for embedded M2M communication
Featuring GSM/GPRS quad-band with embedded TCP/IP stacks and M2M connectivity, the SAGEM HiLo NC is perfectly suited to applications that have space limitations such as portable point of sale terminals, small asset tracking devices and security systems. With its extremely small size - 24 x 24 x 2.6 mm - and weight - just 3 grams - the SAGEM HiLo is one of the smallest wireless M2M modules available on the market today.
The SAGEM HiLo’s very low power consumption (<1,5mA in idle mode) and guaranteed 3.2V minimum power supply make it the best solution for battery-powered devices. In addition, its extended operational temperature range – from -40°C to 85°C - is ideal for industrial and automotive applications.
