| MO300 EDGE/GPRS M2M Module with on-board LINUX OS |
 |

Sagem Communications introduce the MO300E and XS300E (BGA variant) EDGE modules to its portfolio of networking products.
Sagem Communications is the first manufacturer to bring together a Linux operating system with EDGE technology - creating the most efficient and flexible M2M modules available on the market today. This gives users, within the open Linux environment, a huge processing capacity, multiple interfaces and extended memory. Smaller, faster and with the capacity to handle the most complex applications thanks to the unique embedded Linux operating system, the modules open up an entire range of new potential applications in Machine to Machine (M2M).
With its open platform, client applications can now be directly embedded in the module, thereby enabling it to act as the system controller, achieving significant gains in productivity and reductions in costs. These applications can be upgraded remotely by means of the OTA e-maintenance system.
In addition to this technological innovation, the MO300E and XS300E modules have quad-band coverage and fully integrated Internet connectivity. They are ideally adapted for the operating constraints of all industrial sectors thanks to their extended temperature range (-35°C to 75°C) and low power consumption (<2mA in idle mode).
All variants come with integrated TCP/IP connectivity making them ideal for Automotive, M2M, Telemetry, Metering and Multimedia applications.
