Add wireless capabilities to your PDA and handheld devices with Pretec’s wireless CompactGPRS modem. The modem Utilises Sagem's Tri-band MO190 GPRS module which operates on 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz for Worldwide use.
The modules small form factor, 92.5 x 42.8 x 5/15.5mm and light weight (just 65g) makes it ideal for PDA type applications. CompactGPRS external adapter card adds high-speed wireless Internet access to laptops and PDA's and offers the ability to send data, faxes, and SMS messages plus voice calls can be made using the external headset provided.
The CompactGPRS modem is also supplied with a PCMCIA card adapter offering support for Laptops and handheld devices with PCMCIA or Cardbus connections.
