The Lantronix XPort Direct and XPort Direct+ developers evaluation kits are designed with all the necessary items to help you successfully implement XPort Direct into your product design. These compact Embedded Device Gateway modules deliver network connectivity to virtually any electronic product with a serial interface on its host microcontroller. Manufacturers can now affordably offer network connectivity as a standard feature, greatly enhancing product value, and enabling a host of applications such as remote monitoring, networked control, data acquisition and Internet content streaming.
XPort Direct and XPort Direct+ increase profitability by reducing the cost, development time and risk associated with a chip-based solution.
For applications that require additional security, customers should consider the XPort Direct+ which includes 256-bit AES encryption for secure communications.
