| XPort-AR Embedded Network Processor Module |
 |
The XPort® AR from Lantronix is an Embedded Processor Module that is built on proven XPort® serial-to-Ethernet technology that enables device manufacturers to add Ethernet or IP connectivity as a standard feature to their products. XPort AR includes all the essential device computing and networking features built into a single RJ45 package.
XPort® AR is a fully programmable device computing platform which is based on corporate IT standards such as Cisco®-like CLI, XML and RSS. With Xport-AR you can Web-enable up to three electronic devices, quickly and easily and provide robust “data center grade” security, including SSL and SSH, for networked devices. The XPort AR also delivers IEEE 802.3af compliant compliant pass-through Power over Ethernet (PoE).
More recently, The XPort® AR embedded device server was voted as a winner at EDN Magazine’s 2006 Innovation of the Year awards.
